National Initiative VII Virtual Meeting Four

Celebrating Our Results; Inspiring Teaming

March 26 - 27, 2021

On line registration closed Friday, March 5th. If you would like to register for National Initiative VII Meeting Four, please contact Kristy Stith at kristy@aiamc.org or Laura Kasner at laura@aiamc.org for assistance.

On-line registrations for National Initiative VII Meeting Four are now being accepted. Due to the slower than anticipated distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and out of an abundance of caution and care for our AIAMC members, vendor partners and conference faculty, the AIAMC Board of Directors has decided to shift the AIAMC March 2021 meetings from a hybrid model to an all-virtual one. The AIAMC plans to contract with a professional virtual meeting platform vendor and do all we can to ensure delivery of exceptional education and networking. Regular updates will be provided in AIAMC This Week. For now, please keep the dates of March 25th – 27th for the AIAMC Annual Meeting and March 26th – 27th for National Initiative VII Meeting Four. Team leaders or their designees are required to attend NI VII Meeting Four, and all team members are encouraged to attend as schedules and budgets allow.

Inspiring Programming:

NI VII Meeting Four will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 26th - 27th and will focus on Celebrating Our Results and Inspiring Teaming.

Day One begins on Friday, March 26th at 1:30 pm with opening remarks by Dr. Janek, Chair, followed by our Keynote speaker. Capstone Presentations and a Time Capsule Self-Reflection exercise will be held as well as a brief report out. The Annual Awards Dinner begins at 6:00 pm on-site. AIAMC will celebrate the conclusion of National Initiative VII by recognizing all participating teams.

Day Two begins on Saturday, March 27th at 7:00 a.m. with a buffet breakfast. Participants will have the opportunity to hear summative presentations from each of the monthly cohort groups. Sessions will include the Poster Slam and Staffed Poster Displays.

Keynote Speaker - Salvaging and Sustaining Interprofessional Teaming in a COVID-19 CLE

Vineet Arora, MD, MAPP, MHM, Associate Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Learning Environment, University of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois

This engaging presentation will motivate and inspire NI participants to salvage teaming in this unprecedented COVID-19 environment. It will also equip attendees with practical tips and tools on how to sustain the improvements made during National Initiative VII.
