Impressive Program: Our conference theme of of Uniting from Transformational Change will be delivered by outstanding, nationally- recognized speakers in an atmosphere of networking and dialogue you won’t find at any other national meeting. Key topics include diversity and equity, social determinants of health and well-being and courage in times of stress. Carl Allamby, MD, PGY 2 Emergency Medicine Resident, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, will provide the keynote address. Dr. Allamby grew up in East Cleveland and started fixing cars professionally in high school, eventually opeining two shops. He was pursuing a business degree in night school when he took a biology course and had an epiphany: he wanted to be a doctor.
