Dr. Walton will set the stage for this roundtable by exploring an unintended consequence her team encountered and the lessons that emerged from the experience. Participants will break into groups, sharing their own examples using a PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) format. The full group will reconvene for a debrief focused on key learnings and how they can be applied to future projects. This exercise will help teams translate examples of unintended consequences into clearer methodology limitations and actionable lessons learned to strengthen projects.

This is a key opportunity for teams to share both progress and challenges shaping their projects. Through storyboard presentations, teams will exchange feedback, learn from one another’s experiences, and benefit from the perspective of National Advisory Council members.

As a final reflection, attendees will be invited to share one word that reflects their meeting experience. These responses will be transformed into a Reflection Word Cloud, offering a visual snapshot of collective takeaways and shared with all attendees after the meeting.
