On-Line registrations for National Initiative (NI) VII Meeting Two: Implementing Teaming are now being accepted.  Team leaders or their designees are required to attend; however, we encourage all team members to attend as schedules and budgets allow.


Programming:  NI VII Meeting Two will be held in on March 27 - 28, 2020.  Meeting Two begins on Friday afternoon, March 27th at 1:30 pm and will include ample time for cohort networking and institutional team time.  All meeting attendees (and guests) are invited to the Awards Dinner on Friday evening at 6:30 pm.  Please note that seating is limited and that a separate registration fee is required.  Saturday's combined programming with the AIAMC 2020 Annual Meeting includes the Value of Teaming: An Improv Approach, staffed poster displays, including NI VII storyboards and the closing session by Dr. Kevin Weiss, Sr. Vice President, Institutional Accreditation, Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).  The meeting adjourns on Saturday at 12:30 pm to maximize travel time back home.


Terrific Meeting Location:   NI VII Meeting Two will be held at the at the spectacular Omni Barton Creek Resort

and spa.  Secluded in the rolling hill country of Austin, the Omni Barton Creek and Spa recently re-opened following an extensive 150 + million-dollar renovation.  The 4,000-acre resort features seven restaurants, a brand new Mokara Spa, a multi-tiered poolscape and four championship golf courses.  Our conference rate is just $259/night. Our room reservation deadline is Thursday, February 27, 2020.   


If you plan to attend the AIAMC 2020 Annual Meeting, to be held on March 26th-28th, please be reminded to register for the conference here.  Note:  If you registered for the Annual Awards Dinner during your NI VII registration you should NOT re-register during  the 2020 Annual Meeting registration.

Frances Johnston, PhD, CEO and Founder, Teleos Leadership Institute

The Being a Resonant Team session is all about moving from theory to practice – how you implement leader and member behaviors that will create healthy and high-performing teams. As healthcare is increasingly characterized by interdisciplinary teams it is critical to attend to not only WHO is around the patient but also HOW the work gets done. As teams quickly come together and disassemble, leaders and members must be intentional about creating a team environment where everyone can thrive. A healthy and resonant team leads to open communication and effective collaboration which ultimately provides the best outcomes for the patient. In this session, Dr. Johnston will invite participants to learn experientially by considering their own teams and how they can implement best practices back at work.

NI VII Meeting Two registration closes Thursday, March 5, 2020

Please note all registrations and payments MUST be received by March 5, 2020.  All program materials and on-site meals (with the exception of Friday's awards dinner) are included in your registration fee.

Off-line registration fee (after March 5th) for team leaders will be $50.

Off-line registration fee (after March 5th) for team members  will be the regular registration rate plus a 20% service charge.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations received prior to March 5, 2020 will be refunded the paid registration fee less $25 for processing.  Cancellations received after March 5, 2020 will not be refunded.
