Reporting to the GME Operations Manager, but with day-to-day guidance provided by the Program Director, the GME Program Supervisor is a member of the Residency/Fellowship Program leadership team and is responsible for the administration of multiple residences/fellowships or a single program with more than 20 physician learners. Manages program administrative and business functions including database management, finance reconciliation, resident scheduling and supervising program staff. Works closely with the Program Director to develop and maintain the educational quality of the training program to ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Is required to be available early mornings and late evenings to receive and troubleshoot calls from residents/fellows and faculty. Provides mentorship to junior program administrators.


Qualifications / Required Skills

Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses & Certifications: TAGME certification Additional Qualifications: Associates/Bachelors degree and 2 years of GME program/institutional administration, or High School diploma and 4 years experience in GME program/institutional administration required. Advanced knowledge of GME and ACGME program requirements required. Excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Effective professional business written and verbal communication skills required. Able to maintain high level of confidentiality and be diplomatic. TAGME certification required within 1 year of beginning position. Minimum Required Experience:
