GME Manager

Job Description / Duties

GME manager will oversee multiple residency programs at AMITA Health St. Francis Hospital.

Provide leadership and oversight to the GME program coordinators with direct reports.

Manage multiple GME budgets and expenses.

Oversight of the ACGME annual update, APE's, CCC, PEC, interview process, KRONOS time cards, New Innovations, faculty and program director contracts, PLA's, affiliation agreements, medical student rotations, CME, scholarly activity day, site visits, CLER.

Provide oversight and organization for the activities of the residency and/or medical student education program in all facilities that participate in the program.

Assign clinical rotations and staff appointments of attending physicians on teaching services.

Implement policies and procedures related to the residency and/or medical student program.

Review, update and assist in writing curricula.

Submit all information required and requested by various accrediting bodies, including but not limited to program information forms and annual program resident and/or medical student updates.

Qualifications / Required Skills

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Experience:
3 years of experience required.
5 years of experience preferred.
1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
GME Experience preferred
