Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center is searching to
identify the founding program director for its Internal Medicine Residency. The
successful applicant must meet all ACGME requirements for appointment as an
Internal Medicine Program Director.
Located in the heart of Cajun Country in
Lafayette, La., Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center (OLGMC) has a rich
history of providing exceptional healthcare. OLGMC is now a 489-bed facility
that has maintained its leadership in healthcare throughout its existence.
OLGMC serves as the only Level II trauma center between Baton Rouge and the
Texas border. It houses the region’s largest and busiest Intensive Care Unit
and Emergency Department, ensuring top-notch care for critical patients. OLGMC

orthopedics. It is accredited in metabolic and bariatric surgery and recognized
