Job Description / Duties
MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to serve as Program Director for the MercyOne Northeast Iowa Family Medicine and Residency program in Waterloo, IA. This successful program has been producing Family physicians for NE IA and beyond for over 44 years.
Responsibilities
Include:
· Lead residency program with experienced
teaching faculty
· Develop vision for expansion of residency
· Actively teach residents in ambulatory
clinical practice
· Oversee the education and performance of
residents
· Inpatient and OB optional
· Office call 1:4 with nurse triage
· No hospital call
· Oversee 1-4 program-wide quality improvement
projects
· Provide 10 – 12 lectures on various topics throughout the year

Inpatient
