Director Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education

Job Description / Duties

Reporting to the BHSF Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Director will leverage his/her strengths in business acumen, organizational savvy and project management to direct various strategic academic, operations and business programs across the organization.  


The Director will provide administrative oversight of the BHSF Graduate Medical Education Office, direct organizational strategic special projects, and medical education strategic planning across various student/learner programs.  


Working closely with system-wide senior executives and physician leadership will develop resident physician graduate medical education (“GME”) programs at various facilities to support clinical operations.  


Will actualize the vision of recruiting, training and retaining new high caliber physicians to support and staff Baptist Health. 

Qualifications / Required Skills

Master’s in Business Administration.  


Minimum 5 years of medical education experience and leadership experience required.   


Advanced knowledge of ACGME institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements.  


Excellent verbal/written communication skills, analytical skills and relationship building.
