Graduate Medical Education Positions College Of Medicine University of Kentucky The College of Medicine Graduate Medical Education Office at the University of Kentucky is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Director and an Accreditation Manager. The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Director reports to the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education and is responsible for all administrative aspects of the GME office, including strategic, financial, and human resources planning and execution. The Director is involved in both short and long-term financial planning including budget development and reconciliation, continuous monitoring of GME related billing to external partners, Medicare cost report data oversight, and overseeing all GME office business functions. The Director oversees the management of human resources functions for all house staff at local and regional university partners in addition to supervising GME office staff. The Director also collaborates with GME leadership to monitor institutional and program level accreditation compliance, develops institutional policies and procedures, and participates in accreditation events such as site visits. Minimum requirements for this position are a Master's degree and 7 years of related experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience. The GME Accreditation Manager will serve as the primary coordinator for institutional monitoring and improvement of accreditation related data and process for all GME programs under GME office oversight. This individual will consult with GME training programs frequently regarding accreditation related compliance concerns and questions and will provide consultative assistance in preparation for accreditation data submission and site visits. This position will also be regularly involved in designing and promoting processes to optimize workflow related to GME programs' accreditation activities and will lead change regarding implementation of accreditation guidelines. Prior experience with/knowledge of Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) program and institutional standards is preferred. Proficiency with data aggregation and analysis is essential. Minimum requirements for this position are a Master's degree and 3 years of related experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
