The Vice Provost/CAO will be the champion for academics, education, and research. This leader will be charged with the oversight of all osteopathic medical education, both undergraduate and graduate, as well as all of the infrastructure and systems that support the academic mission. The successful candidate will have an M.D., D.O., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent terminal degree with significant experience in academic medicine, and will have a demonstrated track record of championing excellence, leading change, and fostering engagement. The candidate will demonstrate national recognition for productivity and achievement in research and/or education, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. As the academic administrative leader for Rowan University and Virtua Health, candidates should have strong business skills and an understanding of what it takes to help enhance the academic mission in a competitive environment.
