Additional Information

OMC is a 312-bed community hospital approximately 12 miles south of Jersey Shore University Medical Center. We are seeking an on-site A-DIO to provide day-to-day oversight of the programs and support the GME staff. We currently have 3 programs at OMC – Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, and Family Medicine – with a total complement of 72 positions. OMC is in its second year of building its GME cap. The A-DIO will play a critical strategic role identifying other potential programs to establish at the hospital during the cap-building period. There may be other opportunities as well to expand the role beyond GME (e.g. oversight of UME and growing CME) as Ocean realizes its potential to become a full-fledged academic medical center.
